Fire Protection Roller Shutters
Fully tested and approved fire rated roller shutters offering up to 4 hour fire protection. Usually electrically operated. fire shutters close in the event of a fire sectioning off the effected area or providing safe protected access to fire escape routes.
They are usually connected to the buildings fire alarm system but can be fitted with a fusible link to close the shutters automatically in the event of fire. Very heavy duty construction these shutters can be galvanised or coloured finish and can be used as security shutters as well as for fire protection if required.
