Roller Shutters
Industrial Roller Shutters
Heavy duty electrically operated roller shutters in either heavy gauge galvanised or coloured finishes. Operated via heavy duty 3 phase motors. Shutters can be fitted with additional wind protection for exposed locations or with a variety of control systems including remote control and auto open/close if required. This kind of shutter is typically fitted to large industrial building or large farm buildings where a heavy duty door fitted with a high rated drive system for continuous operation are required.
Commercial Roller Shutters
Medium duty roller shutters typically fitted with either electric motors or manual reduction gear hand chain systems. Usually operated via a single phase tubular motor and switching systems or by internally operated haul chain manual systems. This kind of shutter can be galvanised or coloured and if required fitted with a see through section to allow vision into shop windows at night. Typically fitted to shop fronts or commercial applications where very large vehicle access or continuous operation is not required.
Standard Duty Manual Roller Shutters
Manually operated self coiling roller shutters fitted with a counter balance spring system to aid operation. Shutters can be galvanised or coloured finish and fitted with see through sections if required. Fitted with manual locking systems and suited to small doorways/windows or to small single garage doors. Simple cost effective solution to securing smaller openings or shop windows/doors. Locking is via 2 welded channel pin locks per shutter or a centre lock if operation from both sides of the shutter is required.
Fire Protection Roller Shutters
Fully tested and approved fire rated roller shutters offering up to 4 hour fire protection. Usually electrically operated. fire shutters close in the event of a fire sectioning off the effected area or providing safe protected access to fire escape routes.
They are usually connected to the buildings fire alarm system but can be fitted with a fusible link to close the shutters automatically in the event of fire. Very heavy duty construction these shutters can be galvanised or coloured finish and can be used as security shutters as well as for fire protection if required.
Fire/Smoke Curtains
Fully tested and approved fire/smoke curtains offer 1, 2 or 4 hour fire protection ratings and provide the same fire protection as a standard roller fire shutter, in a much smaller package than the conventional fire shutters.
Our fire/smoke curtains feature fully contained power systems and offer not only fire but also smoke protection if needed. All our fire/smoke curtains comply to the same stringent testing as our roller fire shutters for added peace of mind.
Just like the roller fire shutters, the fire/smoke curtains can be supplied in any colour and standard sizes are also available.
